Abstract
This blog is a look into the ever-growing species extinction in Australia and Oceania. In the past there have been numerous unique species in Australia that have completely died out and the rate at which this is actively occurring is increasing quickly. There are several different possible reasons for mass extinction in Australia that we want to look into and discuss. We are hoping to understand what about the continent and its inhabitants are the main cause of high extinction rates. Likewise we want to look into how the continent should begin going about preserving species numbers in the future and what natural disasters mean for the flora and fauna of Australia.
